Sad News

Ok, I'm happy to have this done with, but at the same time, I know Jeremy's really sad about this.  The green jeep is gone...  After welding the doors on once or twice, adding latches to the back gate to keep it closed, steeling the rear wheel for a spare for the red jeep, replacing the radiator, alternator, water pump, a hose or two and a few other odd bits in the last few years, Jeremy took off the hitch(meant taking off the bumper and ripping apart the back), took the gear nob off, took the stereo that he installed out, took the belt and alternator out, took out the passenger window for a friend's jeep that ended up not fitting and we could even take out the carpet on the floor and see the road below and the hood wouldn't even latch anymore, I think it's time for this to be put to it's end.  I have to say, it's served him well for the 14 yrs or so that he's had it and the 17 years it's been in existance.  It also, somehow, managed to get us and the boat to Canada three years ago(I can't believe we've been here for 3 yrs at the end of August).  It will be deeply missed and I know it's been really hard for Jeremy to finally give in and come to terms that it's met it's time.  It's taken all summer, but we came home Tuesday to an empty driveway.  Here are the last pictures.  Rest in Peace green jeep!

I finally finished covering the cushion that goes with the arbor bench!
We are about to welcome Jeremy's mom and aunt and uncle(with the command center-hence the reason to empty the driveway) this week.
