Finished Projects for Parent's Arrival (Part 1)

We've been super busy, yet again, but this time it's been more fun things!  Here are pictures to tell our story.  First set are some of final pictures before my parent's arrived(more in part 2 that I didn't get taken until later).

Jeremy redid some of the boards that got warped because he hadn't quite finished this from a couple years ago.

Jeremy decided to keep a northern he caught to see how it filleted and tasted.  Turned out ok.

Parent's arrival pictures
ops... more emerg projects
As we headed out to drive into Quebec, the tire seized and wouldn't move.  Thankfully it happened before we got to the edge of our property so luckily we were able to get it back into the driveway.
We wanted to go check out a farm for sale on the Quebec border.

Turned out the emergency brake broke inside the rotor, but the break pads were badly worn down anyway and damaged the rotors.

I took a day off and we headed into Algonquin for a canoe trip up the Barron Canyon.  Stopped for lunch.

My parents ended up leaving Tuesday morning.  They got to stay an extra day since our power went out Sunday even (our came back on around 3 am Monday morning), and when I went to work Monday, both Deep River and Chalk River (site) still didn't have power so we ended up with an extra "free" day.  They got to stay with us for 10-11 days and we didn't have any big projects/moving(or races) to do finally! Sorry, I'm not adding more verbiage as I'm not feeling well(stomach ache) and need to go lie down again.
