So, the bathroom is mostly done. We got the flooring in yesterday and Jeremy got the new toilet in and got things caulked. He got the bits of trim in today. I got things cleaned up a bit, cleaned out the closet and re-stored things in their new places. I'll have to do a small bit of touch-up paint and I was thinking about painting the inside of the closet. I'm hoping Jeremy can put some of the new flooring in there as well, just to give it a bit more of a finished look. I guess the tiling currently in the closet is the 2nd flooring that went in - that was the stuff under the floor we ripped up. I really like the new bathroom. I'm happy to go in there now and everything matches! I think we finally got rid of all the miss-matched stuff we inherited in this house. So, with the last bits, this is the final piece of work left on the house. We still have lots of little touch-ups to finish up from all the projects we've worked on. Jeremy also got our new tiles up in the kitchen. We went really simple and just put an edge over the countertop to fill the gap in the back. That's a relief to get done too. He started working on re-doing the piping under the sink. Unfortunately, his cement set before he got the piping in so he's going to have to go back and get new pipe and try again. So, until that point, we have no kitchen sink. UGH! The cleaned up table is no longer clean anymore. I can't seem to win.

I finally got the xmas tree down tonight - it's nice to have our living room back - it was full of boxes from the bathroom too. Jeremy also showed me how to use the snow blower this afternoon. It's a bit tricky since the driveway is so uneven from all the ice and snow. We got another 4-5 inches yesterday. We got the P90X dvd's to workout to this last week too. I've heard they're really good, hard workouts. I guess we'll see. They work on strength training, endurance and even have a bit on nutrition. Should be interesting. Hopefully, Jeremy can get over his cold to give it a try. It sounds like he may have strep throat. His throat's been sore for about 10-12 days now and it's not getting better so he's going to try to get in to the clinic tomorrow. We didn't get to do much for his birthday cause he hasn't been feeling the best. I'm glad he was able to work on the bathroom at least.
Today, I got out with running club for about 12k. It was about 22F when I left, but was 12F when I got home and it was pretty darn windy! I think I figured about -9 with the windchill when I got home. Looks like we've got a super cold week coming up - high's about -9F to -1F all week and who knows how windy it might be. Brrrr.
We've been discussing our future plans in looking at coming back to the US. We aren't looking at any quick decisions but feeling out what options might be out there. I'm hopeful the right thing will present itself at the right time, if we have our eyes open, and everything will fall into place when we're ready. We love so much about this place, but there's such a big gap between everything outside of work and work itself. We'll never find a place so rich in the environment for our hobbies, and our house turned out to be the perfect place for us.
