Well, we made the two day journey, event free. We made it to Chicago, got our hotel room, drove to Madison, WI to drop the boat and guns at Howard and Marilynne's for safe keeping and stayed for the night. Tuesday, Oct 15th we headed to Sheboygan to see my parents and "give" them the cats for safe keeping.
So, this is going to be my last post to this blog. We want to turn it into some sort of book/journal to keep as a reminder of our Canadian Adventures. I do, however, want to state that this trip and adventure to Canada has been such a wonderful experience. I know there were many ups and downs, but now being able to look back at them, I can only say, they've only allowed us to live and learn and grow. I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to make this adventure happen and to have been surrounded by such a beautiful environment that I know we'll have such a hard time to find again. I hope we were able to make the most of everything we had in front of us. I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people that I hope to stay in touch with for years to come.
Since we're now back in the US and on to a new adventure, I will be opening a new blog. Please stay tuned to: www.arnott-lichtchicagoland.blogspot.com
