Can't be Spring!

I have to quick post another couple of pictures. This is from today. We got up to 58F according to my weather station in the shade in the backyard! It's so beautiful and sunny out. Notice the now melt from my last post 2 days ago!

We quick made a trip into town for two things: new kitchen ceiling light fixture and some peppermint ice cream. You'll wonder why? We saw the light fixture the other weekend and the store didn't have any instock, so we asked if we could have the display hanging on the ceiling. They finally called and had gotten it down so we picked it up. Maybe one of these days soon, Jeremy can get it installed. I'll post pictures. He also wants to try making an ice cream cake, or more like a cake roll and the recipe calls for peppermint ice cream (rolled with a chocolate cake). I finally was able to track one of three containers left in our whole area and we picked it up. We're soon headed to the gym to maybe lift, bike and/or swim (maybe even hit the hot tub again!). I opted not to run today since we wanted to get into town. We did get Hayde out for a few fetches and a quick walk around the block since it was soo nice out.

Oh, I do want to say we're trying to get our plans finalized for a trip to Toronto this weekend for the Outdoors Sports Show. It's like the one we went to in Ottawa last year (then to the senators hockey game against the Sharks), but 5 times bigger. I'm excited as I haven't yet been to Toronto. Jeremy's been there many times now. I think Marnie's going to be able to watch Hayde for the weekend so that's very nice of her.
