My parents ended up driving up for Christmas. They got here on the Thursday and left Tuesday morning so we actually got to celebrate a holiday! We took them out to the Nook Creperie and all enjoyed a fantastic dinner the evening they arrived. We didn't do too much the next couple days, but got a nice Christmas dinner put together and enjoyed one more day of relaxing before they left.
It snowed the day they arrived, but thankfully the temps were warm enough the roads weren't bad. It even snowed Christmas day to their enjoyment. It hasn't really stopped since, but they did get out of here and home ok. We got a really good snowfall the day they left.
We also went out shopping and bought ourself a new couch and love seat that recline! We're still waiting for the love seat.
