Vacation!

Somehow the time keeps getting away from me.  We are finally on vacation and are realizing it's over 1/2 over - darn!  We've been kinda lazy and have watched many movies, but we've also created a mess in the bathroom!  oh no!  We riped out the vanities, sink, medicine cabinets and soon, the floor.  We picked up two new vanities(that was quite the decision!).  Unfortunately, we're having problems with the one for the sink.  We brought two home to find them cracked and broken at the base facing out.  We have one more try - they have one more for us to try so we'll check it out in the morning.  if that one won't work, it'll be a few weeks before we can get one - meaning - no sink!  We got the paining done at least, but we opted not to tear out the closet(or Jeremy did).  We ended up having to order the flooring cause we couldn't find anything suitable that they had instock.  So once again, we'll have to wait a few weeks to finish. 

In the meantime, I can definitely say, winter has arrived.  Last week Friday, we got a big storm that dumped over a foot of really wet heavy snow.  I ended up staying home from work - didn't want to drive on that highway so I spent most of the day shoveling.  Needless to say, I decided I was done shoveling.  Since Jeremy doesn't believe in snow removal, I usually have to do the shoveling.  Anyway, I decided it's time for a snowblower.  Jeremy didn't agree, but came around and we bought a snowblower!  YAH!  It was missing a few pieces so we had to wait for the parts to arrive and then get assembled, but Jeremy was able to pick it up today - thankfully.  We got dumped on again a few days ago with probably over another foot!  Definitely time for a snowblower!  He got the driveway done finally and we can now get the car back out.

We had a nice quite Christmas.  Jeremy made his duck stew and I made stuffing.  We also finished up the last of the walleye the other night and Jeremy did a duck marinade yesterday which was good.  I've since come down with a really nasty sinus cold that's doing me in.  I'm still trying to help Jeremy with the bathroom, but it's difficult.  I really need to find a place to post pictures since I'm sure you're interested in seeing some.  I did get out for several runs with Annalisa and once with Janice and their dogs.  We had some nice wintery runs thru the woods.  Well, I have to get to bed - I'm fading fast.
