We then headed back toward Kanata on the west side of town. There's a big plaza with lots of shops and stuff. We ended up stopping at Best Buy and Future Shop and walked out with a flat screen TV. Our old living room one was losing it's contrast and was getting really dark. We're finally getting with the times! We hit a few more shops and found a few other clothing items before returning home. It turned out to be an expensive day, but I think well worth it.
This morning, I got in about a 37.7k run. I took Hayde out with me on my first loop and got a call from Annalisa. We decided to meet up and do a loop on the trails by her so I decided to have Hayde come with me. She was starting to get warm, but we knew there were several spots for her and Charm to swim. I think they had a good time. But, by the time we headed back, Hayde was definitely getting tired. This was MUCH longer than I had expected to take her, and it was hot. I had shorts and a tank top on....and that's me! She did a great job! I can't say enough how wonderful she's been. So, apart from my hacking up my lungs, I managed to finish my last long run before my marathon at the end of May. I'm heading into taper mood! I have to add a few pictures. Jeremy's done a great job with P90X and the diet plan. He's lost quite a bit of weight and is back to the weight he was I think when I met him. He even fits back into his suit pants he hasn't been able to get into in the last several years(well, since we got Hayde and she'll be 7 this summer).
Once done, Jeremy and I ended up sitting outside for a little bit. It was sooo nice out! Then we came in and picked up the house. Jeremy's hoping to get the window's measured so we can get some new ones ordered and get those in. Another project! I still have more things to do outside in the yard/garden, but it'll come. My tulips are in full bloom! It's so nice to see. The grass is green, the sun is out. I love this kind of weather. We ended up killing our little cherry tree. Jeremy broke the trunk off so we have yet to pull it out of the ground and put something to replace it in. Oh and we'll have to cut down the two pine trees at the far end of the property by our cedars. They're both dead or nearly dead. I just feel so tired and worn down right now, I don't have enough energy to do much more. Well, I have to check on the laundry and finish cleaning up from dinner, then join Hayde in sleeping.
