Request
I've gotten most of the house packed up, just a few bits and pieces left of stuff we keep using, but I think I'm going to box them up this weekend and leave the boxes out and open so stuff is still accessible. Jeremy's been intent on hunting. He went out Tuesday night back to a spot we scouted last weekend and ended up waist high in water/muck. Knee high in muck. Thankfully he managed to be able to move thru it. No birds. Someone else was out hunting that shot at some though. He's realized he'll need the canoe. So, we finished camouflaging it green, brown and khaki. We went out this morning along Barron Canyon Road - road to Algonquin that we'd hunt along last fall. This was grouse hunting. It's so full of brush yet, we'll have to wait another few weeks for the leaves to fall and shrubs to die out. We mostly stayed along probably an old logging road until it disappeared. We did venture into the woods a bit when we could get thru the brush. Some of that wasn't sooo bad. Hayde flushed a couple of grouse, but with it being so thick, it was impossible to attempt a shot. Jeremy's now out duck hunting, with the canoe back in a similar spot to where he's gone before. We'll see what he finds when he gets back.In the meantime, his green jeep is still out of commission. He's missing a bolt that keeps a belt tight and his battery won't seem to hold any charge. He charged it one night and two days later, it was dead. I think he managed to drive it once to work since his mom and aunt and uncle were here when it died. Ummmmm.....could this possibly be a sign?!?! We're hoping he can at least get it going to get it over to the new house next week.I've had a request to post more hunting pics and movies so here they are....From today
