Garage / Dog Sitting

We got to doggie sit Saturday night and Sunday for Marnie and Jason's dogs, Bean and Cooper.  Here are a few pictures.  All dogs behaved well and Cooper and Hayde loved playing with each other.  They love tug-o-war.  Marnie said once she got them home, they didn't move all night so I guess they were worn out from seeing each other several  times thoughout the week.

Jeremy worked on the garage again today.  He had gone yesterday to get some supplies.  Yesterday, we were able to wire up and install a new light above the workbench.  There was a really old light there, but it didn't give off much light so he wanted something brighter.  Today, he got the perforated board up and took down a side wall to the right of the work bench.  He got lots of hooks and organizers for tools, etc to get up yet. He's got lots more ideas to make the garage more workable and functionable over the winter so we'll see what else is to come.
While, Jeremy was in the garage, I got my sewing machine uncovered.  I fixed a pair of Jeremy's jeans, my running pants and then worked on another bed for Hayde.  She's so spoiled.  This bed is a garage/camping bed that is smaller than the other two beds she has so we can stuff it in when we take trips and I'm expecting it to get dirty.  I had gotten some foam much earlier and finally got it covered in fabric today.
Unfortunately, our vacation is coming to an end as we start back at work tomorrow, bright and early!  I'd have to say, we did have a pretty good vacation and got several things accomplished, yet had time to relax and sleep-in.  Hopefully we can be a little more organized and get back into our gym routine for the rest of the winter and maybe work on bits and pieces around the house, but we're feeling pretty satisfied with it so far.  Just some ideas yet for the main bathroom and the kitchen and we'll have given the entire house/garage a well deserved facelift!  We certainly lucked out with this house and really enjoy it and find it really suits us as best as any house can.
