Fishing
I only have time to post our fishing pictures from the weekend and today since it's already 10:30 and I was up until 11 last night and I can NOT be staying up this late. We went out on the river on Friday and I had a lot of success. I pulled in 2 walleye that were too big to keep, 3 keepers, a baby and a perch. Jeremy got the other two and a couple of babies.
Saturday, we took a trip back up towards Bissett Creek and took a different road to the river/stream. Jeremy wanted to try to find some big minnows that we could use for northern fishing. We managed to find and eventually hook about 15 or so. We brought them home in the cooler, but they didn't end up lasting. We need a better aerator. I even pulled in a bullhead. Thankfully I found our mosquito head nets cause in some places it was BAD!
Sunday, it was super warm, but we got out on the river after picking up some more minnows. We used bobbers this time and Jeremy pulled in a nice northern. I have to mention, he fell in that day too.
Today, Tuesday, we got out after a big storm passed with a downpour. It cleared up nicely. We used our minows again(we kept them in the live well and ran the air circulator. It was beautiful out - the steam rising off the water as we watched the sun set. Jeremy got a couple of walleye with a worm and jig. My bobber went under a couple times, and my minnow had a few bit marks, but no fish.
I'll have to post my other pictures later. We're hoping to get the hallway cabinets hung back up tomorrow!!! Jeremy started striping the next set. We figure about 2 weeks per set to strip, sand, stain and clear coat. Don't know how many sets we'll end up having to do, but we figure it's a summer long project. We definitely enjoying some/LOTS of strawberries! I have a few more flower pictures to post. One rose bush is in full bloom.
