Permanent Resident Application

I forgot to mention...our permanent resident application now went from "Received" to "In Process"!!!! WOW! It's been a year and it's finally starting to move forward. We also got some paper work in the mail...meaning more stuff to do. We need to get a medical exam done and have an appointment set up in the middle of May. The closest certified physician for immigration exams is in Ottawa so we'll have to take a day to go there. We also need to get finger prints done and send those in to the FBI for a FBI criminal background check. Who knows how long that might take?!?! It's at least good to know something's started to happen again.

I forgot to mention Hayde and I ventured down a new path in the Terrace. There's a path that starts in the neighborhood a few blocks from where the main park is that I had found soon after we moved. We finally ventured along that path and it's quite nice, but a bit wet - at least right now. I'm sure before long it could get really buggy. Below are a few pictures. Also, a picture of my garden I just started with my strawberry, rhubarb, mint and chives. Hopefully this weekend, I can get more things planted. I've started a few seeds inside.
