Yard Work

We've been working on the yard in the evenings all week, aside from playing tennis Monday night, I hit the chiropractor Tues evening (ahhhhhhh!), picked up the 3 bundles of shingles to finish the roof, did a fast 13k (ops - 8 miles) Wednesday and Thurs did a hill workout with running club and Jeremy had hockey.

As of Tuesday evening - we got all the branches cut off.

The two pines at the end are noticably sad looking without to extra cover from the cedars.

Jeremy's also begun thinking about how to prop the oil tank up so he can get some concrete poured for the tank to sit on. It's still 1/4+ ful. He's started building a frame for the concrete.

As of Wed pm - got more racking done and cleaned up a bit more. We got the chicken-wire fence put up as well (and got the old one out after digging it out of 2 ft of dirt).

More to come....(hopefully, I'll have time to post a few more pictures from the weekend's work). Carol, Howard and Marilynne are arriving Wednesday evening for a week's visit! They'll finally be able to see our house and all the work we've done. Now I'm off to bed - BUSY weekend ahead!
