Blueberries!!!!

I'm going to make this very quick. I've again worked a lot of hours this week and have one more full day tomorrow. I'm spending most of my time in millwork still trying to learn more about windows and doors and moldings.

I did have Tuesday off so in the afternoon Kharren, Khartem and I went off to the far side of Pembroke just out of town to go blueberry picking. I was hoping to pick enough to try some blueberry wine, however, Jeremy doesn't want to make any, but I'm hoping I can make a small batch. We ended up being out picking for over 3 hours! We must have been having fun since we didn't realize THAT much time went by. We did get rained on, but not for too long and the sun did come back out and it warmed up really well. I forgot to check the weight when I paid, but I'm guessing it was close to 10-11 lbs of blueberries! I have yet to wash them up and freeze some for later. They sure are good.

Jeremy went off to Toronto Tuesday afternoon for a meeting Wednesday. He got back late Wednesday night. I was up at 4:45am so I could get Hayde out for a quick run before I had to leave for work by 6:30am! I hope to be able to sleep in one day! Wednesday night Kharren, Lee, Khartem, Hayde and I went off to the beach since it was so warm. We got there a bit late, but Hayde had a good time playing in the water and fetching her ball.

I think it's too warm to fish since thru Monday it's supposed to be 30C or warmer, around 90F, but hopefully we can get to the beach at least. We're awaiting Jeremy's mom Sunday evening. He's going to go solo to Ottawa to pick her up from the airport and I'm going to stay back and play softball. His aunt and uncle should be arriving via motorhome Monday, mid-day I'm guessing, so by my next post, I should have more pictures of some of the things we'll do with them while they're here.
