Door

It hailed on and off all day today.  It was fairly cold again.  Jeremy decided to work on the entry way again and took the door off and stripped the rest of the frame out.  We then spent the afternoon trying to rebuild a new door frame.  By dinner time(well, 7pm), we had gotten the door back on.  Earlier, I had tried sanding the bottom of the door since it's starting to rust.  I realized, the wood inside was rotten so tried to get as much of that out.  I think Jeremy stuffed it with new wood.  He then put a new weather stip at the bottom.  We finally finished up getting the rest of the weather stipping around the doorway in the dark, only to find out that the one side will have to be redone.  The weather stipping interfers with the door handle.  So close!
I also, managed to caulk the red jeep along the top of the windshield.  Hopefully, it won't leak anymore.  I made a quick trip to the civic center in town since there was a big expo going on.  I had thought I remembered this is where we've gotten our maple syrup the last couple of years.  I bought the biggest jug they had so hopefully it'll last us for the next year.  I also tried to clean up some of the leaves by the cedars.  My bulbs over there are starting to come up too!  Here's a picture of the shed as well.
On a sad note, Stewart managed to get out today.  I saw him last when we ate lunch.  I'm getting really worried about him now since it's almost 10pm and still no sign.  I've tried shaking his food container hoping he'll hear it and come running back, but no luck.  There are so many animals about that could easily get him and he's such a scaredy, there's no way he'll come out of his hole wherever that may be unless he absolutely feels safe.  It's not like him at all to get out and go wondering.  I'm sad to think I'm going to have to go to bed and leave him out there all night.  He's never been out longer than a few minutes!  :(
