I just posted our Florida pictures, so scroll down and take a look!
I had to wait a few days to get a picture of the new siding since it was so dreary out. We managed to get this done last Sunday in the rain. We're still trying to figure out how to finish off the door since that wood had rotted as well. We found a metal piece to go under the door this morning that we think will work, then we'll have to adjust the door and reframe it. But, for the time being, we have a small hole still stuffed with a towel and we're using the front door. It's currently about 30F-35F out and snowing. It started as rain, then turned to small, frozen ice pellets and is now coming down as big snowflakes.
We did do some work on the shed today(I put my snowpants on to stay warm and dry!) and somenow managed to shimmy it around enough to get all the rotted wood foundation and floors out. We also got it elevated on 4 cement blocks. We decided we're going to have to wait a bit to finish getting the blocks under it since the ground is still frozen in some places and we can't dig out the dirt to level the blocks. Hopefully, tomorrow will be a bit warmer and they say the snow/rain should stop by afternoon, so maybe I can get a picture or two of the shed then. We've now added greatly to our mess of junk in the corner of the backyard. Hopefully, if it's ever warm/nice enough, we can pile this up in the truck and borrow Margo's trailer and haul some of this off to the dump. I'm anxious to have a "clean" backyard. More of my plants are coming up now(hopefully not in too much shock from the snow).
