Here are a few more pictures of the yard/doorway. It's supposed to rain all week so we wanted to get a few more things tidied up. You can see some more yellow flowers poking up along the cedars. My neighbor noticed them so that's nice to hear. The tulips are coming up too. I want to work with this a bit more and add some more dirt and compost and put in an edge to tidy it up.
We got the rest of the branches broken up in smaller bits and stacked.
We're not sure where to store all the fire wood for good yet. Maybe another trip to the dump or several day long fires? Sure looks a lot cleaner - finally!

The outside and inside of the doorway. Looking MUCH better! Almost done...well, with the new door. Though Jeremy just said, he'd like to redo it all when we get back. It's a bit sticky at the bottom and the weather striping along the handle side doesn't seal so we obviously got it not quite straight.
The flower beds! Coming along with more flowers. I'm pretty positive all my tulips on this bed will bloom while I'm gone. :( They're so close - any day now.
Out for our evening walk thru the woods. I asked Jeremy to turn around so maybe once I could get his face and not his "better" side. This is what I got! So, sorry, I've tried.... (He even tried to get Hayde to imitate him with her better side up, but she's turned a bit)
