It was so nice out yesterday!!! Maybe got around 50F??? I only put on a fleece when we ventured out. No mittens, no scarf, no hat!!! The morning was partly sunny, but before long, the clouds took over, but it was still nice. I got a nice run in on the path by the river. But, it's practically an ice rink. Hayde had to slow down even because she couldn't get very good footing and would slow herself down by plowing into a snow bank. Our snow is slowly melting, but we still have a long ways to go. I'm posting a picture of the house from yesterday. The driveway's slowing showing itself again, but the lump by the road still has about 3-4 inches of solid ice before we'll get to the asphalt. You can see the banks yet in comparison to Hayde. Still pretty tall. The sidewalks are slowing starting to show again too!
We had Kharren, Khartem and Lee over for dinner last night and their friend Rick and his two kids. We tried the deep dish pizza receipe from our big 1000 receipe book. It took a lot of work making, but it turned out pretty well. We're just in need of finding a pizza stone now, but I don't think that's possible out here in the boonies. We'll have to look in Ottawa probably. I'm trying to prepare myself for my run today, 11 miles and hoping it'll warm up a little more, but it's already just above 0C.
