Jeremy got off EARLY this morning at 3:30am when his boss, Nithy, picked up him and the two of them headed off to Ottawa to catch their flight. As of last night, he said he'll be excited when he actually gets there. He has his 15 minute presentation on Monday to give and then can listen to other talks the rest of the week. I told him he'd better email me since they gave him a lap top to take with so I can fill you in on some of his trip. I sent him with my camera so I'm going to be photoless this coming week (unless Kharren will let me borrow hers if I need). I hope he takes lots of pictures and takes good care of my camera - I'd be lost without it. So, for the next 8 days, I'll be here with Hayde, Kitty and Stewart. And of course, Kharren and Lee will be around until the end of next week. By then, my parents should be arriving so I have that to look forward to.
Don't have too much else to fill in. I did get into town yesterday afternoon and found a whole bunch of plants. More veggies - tomotoes and peppers, zuchinni - we all know how much Jeremy LOVES zuchinni bread, and some flowering plants.
I have 5.5 hours left of this dreaded job and I'm hoping this afternoon goes easy and well. I'll have this weekend off finally after about a month! Unfortunately, Jeremy won't be here nore will my parents, but I'm sure I can make good use out of ALL my free time! I'm going to hit the running club Saturday morning finally. I've been making the Thursday afternoon hill runs and that's been going well. I went in for my second ART at the chiropractor and so far so good. I'm hoping to get in a few more appointments before my race in the next couple of weeks. Maybe I'll be able to do better than I'm thinking. We'll see.
I'm hoping to finish up Hayde's new bed with all the bumpers this morning. I just have one more zipper to attach and maybe some snaps. I'll have to borrow Kharren's camera to post a photo. I guess that's about it. Nothing big planned for the coming week. I'll be finishing up my training at Home Depot and hopefully can finally get out on the floor. Maybe I'll even have a little more freetime. They're open from 7am to 9pm so we'll see how my hours go. Otherwise, it's been absolutely gorgeous here lately. In the 60's everyday and mostly sunny. We do need some rain though and it looks like we may get it this coming week, but they keep saying that and we don't get any. I finally ran in shorts AND a short sleeve t-shirt yesterday for the 1st time this year! :)
