I just want to post a quick update before we head off for the next four days. Hopefully I'll have a chance to catch up on everything once we return. We're headed off tomorrow (hopefully morning) to head to Ottawa for the Ottawa Marathon race weekend. My parent's headed off today to stay with their friend that lives in Ottawa. Jeremy, Hayde and I will meet up with them tomorrow and will watch them run the 5K tomorrow evening. We hopefully will be able to catch Kharren and Alex run the 2K tomorrow evening as well. My race is Sunday morning. I'm very uneasy heading into this race which is very unusual, but I've had severe foot problems this week that have crept up from work. I think I can only hope to finish this race and will have to postpone any hopes of having a decent time which is very frustrating to me as I put soo much time and effort and preparation into these races. I guess well see come Sunday - I just hope it won't be too painful.
Afterwards, we'll all hop in the car to drive to New York to see my sister and her family. Bob(her husband) has some land just west of the Adironacks, not too far from the border. We'll all stay with them at camp until Tuesday when we head back and they all head to Sheboygan. I'm really excited to get to see Jack again and am curious how much he's grown and changed. I'm sure I'll have tons of pictures from this weekend to post when we get back.
Hope everyone has a great Memorial Day. It's a regular weekend in Canada. We had Victoria Day last Monday that Jeremy had off, but I didn't.
