Hayde was whinning and fussing this morning so I had to get her out in the backyard for a little bit and it was a good thing as I found a pileated woodpecker in the tree next to the garage! Amazing....I think this is the 1st (or 2nd) time I've ever seen on of these and so close! I quietly ran back inside and hoped Hayde would stay quiet outside and grabbed my camera....from the bird book and a closer look at these pictures, I'm guessing this was a female. I took the first photo with the regular zoom and the next two with the digital zoom on (not as crisp).
My interview yesterday morning went fair enough. If all goes well, I'd be working in the garden center - what fun! I love plants. I would still have to meet with the store manager, but it looks like they have a training session in the next two weeks that they'd like the person to go to so we'll see. I'm crossing my fingers - just so I can get out of my current job as fast as possible. We'll have to work on anther vehicle though pretty quickly.
I'm hoping to get my bicycle out today. It hit the low 60's yesterday (according to my temp sensor) so it was beautiful and it's supposed to be just as nice if not warmer thru Friday (but of course Sunday's supposed to drop drastically when I have my long run...). I'm hoping I can do my interval workout on my bike today instead of running - to give my feet and legs a break.
